Writing a play can be hard work, but the research can be even tougher.
“The Dublin Play” is an almost true-to-life account of Castlereigh Theatre Project’s four month stay in Dublin, Ireland. This part fact, part fiction story follows three dislocated playwrights as they cast around the city for the “sake of the story” interviewing the people they meet while constantly breaking their Golden Rule: Do Not Become Involved. Puerile yet sharp, “The Dublin Play” explores how freedom and loneliness are inextricably connected.
